Reservation & Refund Policy
1. About Your Reservation
Your US$10 payment reserves access to Nycto’s VIP offer for our upcoming Kickstarter campaign. It is a refundable reservation payment—not a purchase or pre-order of a physical product.
No product will be shipped as a result of this reservation alone. No shipping fee is charged when you place your reservation.
2. Purchasing Through Kickstarter
To obtain a Nycto product, you will need to separately back the applicable reward during our Kickstarter campaign and complete the required payment.
Your reservation does not automatically create a Kickstarter pledge or authorize us to charge you for a product. Product pricing, available rewards, shipping charges, applicable taxes, and estimated delivery dates will be explained before you complete your pledge.
Instructions for accessing your VIP offer will be sent to the email address used for your reservation. Any redemption deadlines or eligibility requirements will be clearly stated in those instructions.
3. Cancelling Your Reservation
You may cancel your reservation and request a full refund of your US$10 reservation payment at any time before it has been refunded.
You do not need to provide a reason for cancellation. We do not charge a cancellation or refund processing fee.
Cancelling your reservation before redeeming your VIP offer will also cancel the associated VIP benefits. The return of your reservation payment after a completed, eligible Kickstarter pledge is not a cancellation of those benefits.
4. How to Request a Refund
Please email support@nycto.com with:
- Your reservation order number.
- The email address used at checkout.
- A request to cancel and refund your reservation.
Please do not send your full payment card number or other sensitive payment information.
We will review and respond to your request within 3 business days. Once your refund is confirmed, we will initiate it within 5 business days.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. The time required for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider. Currency conversion differences or charges imposed independently by your bank may affect the amount shown in your local currency.
5. Returning Your US$10 After Your Kickstarter Pledge
After you complete your Kickstarter pledge and your pledge payment has been successfully collected, your US$10 reservation payment will be refunded separately to your original reservation payment method. It will not be deducted from your Kickstarter pledge amount.
Please email support@nycto.com with your reservation order number and Kickstarter backer details so we can verify and match the two transactions. We will respond within 3 business days and initiate your US$10 refund within 5 business days of confirmation.
Each reservation payment can only be refunded once. If it has already been refunded following a cancellation request, no additional US$10 refund will be issued.
6. Campaign Changes or Cancellation
If Nycto cancels the campaign before launch, or the campaign ends without reaching its funding goal, we will refund any reservation payments that have not already been refunded. Refunds will be initiated within 10 business days of the cancellation announcement or unsuccessful campaign end.
If the launch is delayed, we will notify reservation holders by email. You may request a refund under the cancellation terms above rather than continue waiting.
7. Kickstarter Pledges and Product Returns
This policy covers the reservation payment made on the Nycto website.
Cancellation or refund requests relating to a separate Kickstarter pledge will be handled under the applicable campaign terms, Kickstarter’s rules, and applicable law. Refunding your Nycto reservation does not automatically cancel or refund a Kickstarter pledge.
Product return and warranty terms will be provided separately before you commit to obtaining a product.
8. Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer protection laws.
Changes to this policy will not reduce the reservation benefits or refund rights agreed to when you made your reservation, except where required by law.
